Al-Manshour is dedicated to using the tools of Marxism to unlock the complex social and economic history of Lebanon
Since the end of the Lebanese civil war in 1990 new generations of left wing activists began to organise against sectarianism and the confessional system that has devastated the country and kept its people in a state of poverty and subjugation. This website aims to make available in English the many studies, research and writings that shine a light on the hidden history of our struggle and reveal the layers of complexity that defines the country, its people and the long struggle to break free from the sectarian system.
